Operační paměť slouží jako nejrychlejší pracovní prostor pro právě spuštěné programy. Vysoká kapacita umožní hladký provoz většího množství programů zároveň. Celou kapacitu je možné využít díky 64bitovému operačnímu systému.
Rychlé SSD bude použito pro operační systém a instalované programy. Velmi silnou stránkou SSD je kromě vysokých přenosových rychlostí kolem 550MB/s (výkonné běžné disky mají přenosové rychlosti 80-120MB/s) i superrychlá přístupová doba cca 0,1ms (proti 14ms u běžných SATA HDD). SSD je nejrychlejší řešení diskových jednotek v současnosti.
